    The Inside Sales Consultant represents Torigen Pharmaceuticals in the Animal Health market. This individual is passionate, innovative, and self-motivated with a business-oriented and customer-focused mindset. The Inside Sales Consultant’s primary responsibilities are to help support the outside sales team and be a liaison between the outside sales team and Torigen’s Operations department.

    This role will require great customer service interaction and travel up to 10% of the time. The successful candidate will report to the VP of Market Development.

    Responsibilities

    • Build positive, credible, lasting customer relationships based on trust

    • Sourcing new sales opportunities through inbound lead follow-up and outbound calls and emails

    • Routing qualified opportunities to the appropriate Business Development Managers for further development and closure

    • Analyze data and insights to increase sales, grow customer business, and better achieve objectives

    • Pull and organize reports for Vice President of Market Development and Business Development Managers

    • Pull reports and sales analytics for distribution partners

    • Coordinate with Business Development Managers on follow-up strategies for inactive accounts and prospects

    • Prioritize sales activities to achieve objectives based on each customer business growth plan

    • Proficient use and experience with CRM systems and sales analytics

    • Maintain deep knowledge of Torigen products and correctly present and position them with customers

    • Ability to organize attendance of veterinary conference and participate when necessary

    • Achieve internal and supplier objectives as prioritized by management

    • Manage customer issue resolution, seek additional opportunities to support the customer s needs, and support business growth by providing customers with useful information and guidance

    • Document and maintain account- and customer-specific information in CRM

    • Participate in sales meetings, on-site training, and supplier events as required

    • Perform other duties as assigned

    • Proven inside sales experience

    • Ability to assemble tumor collection kits when needed

    • Strong phone presence and ability to engage customers through Torigen’s live chat platform

    • Proficient with corporate productivity and web presentation tools

    • Excellent verbal and written communications skills

    • Strong listening and presentation skills

    • Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively

    • BA/BS degree or equivalent

    Location

    The position can be located in either the greater Farmington, CT area as a hybrid remote role within the home office OR as a 100% remote position for individuals located in the Pacific or Mountain time zones.

    Compensation

    Base salary, performance bonus, plus stock options

    Qualified candidate must be legally authorized to work in the United States

    Must possess a valid driver’s license

    Pay: $50,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
